QVC, HSN’s Beauty Festival Goes Virtual

Following the success of their 2019 live event in Philadelphia, PA, QVC and HSN’s experiential event, Beauty Bash, is returning on Saturday, September 18 from 12-3 p.m. ET. While the beauty festival will be held virtually this year, it promises to be bigger and more interactive, with the new format allowing for double the number of attendees. This year’s immersive event will introduce new brands, including Buttah, Sobel Skin Rx, Eu’Genia Shea, Kazmaleje, Kreyol Essence, Lawless Beauty, Maison 276, and Mented Cosmetics. Similar to its inaugural event, attendees will have the opportunity to visit custom-designed interactive booths from over 35 brands, access experts, explore products, and attend demos. In addition, beauty enthusiasts will be offered the opportunity to snag their favorites through a virtual shop, scavenger hunt and giveaways. There will also be panel discussions around top trends such as clean beauty, inclusivity, inspiring founder stories, beauty at any age, beauty disruptors, rising beauty brands and more. Celebrating Inclusivity in Beauty

QVC and HSN have deepened their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a new live show, Shades of Beautiful, which features cosmetics, skincare, hair care, and other beauty products created for people of color, and suited for many skin tones and hair textures–as well as brands owned by people of color. The show premiered on HSN in February, featuring two new launches, Buttah and Urban Skin Rx, alongside existing brands Mented, Kazmaleje, MasterPeace, and Carol’s Daughter. Subsequently, Shades of Beautiful debuted on QVC on August 24, featuring Live Tinted, M.A.C, Kreyol Essence and Maison 276. With hundreds of products in their inclusive beauty category, the platforms are dedicated to continuing to grow this assortment, increase shade ranges, and offer more products for all hair types.
