How QVC Hosts Care for Their Hair

ALLURE**: What’s your hair type?**

SK: Thick, frizzy, dry, naturally curly, and prone to alopecia. Every seven weeks, I get the bleach blonde hair I was meant to have at birth.

VH: My hair is naturally curly, and I stopped getting relaxers more than 10 years ago. Although I have a lot of hair, it’s somewhat fine, so sometimes, volume is an issue.

ALLURE**: Walk me through your typical hair-care routine.**

SK: After getting my hair bleached, I always do Olaplex’s No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment. I also swear by the WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioners. My hair gets too tangled without it.

For styling, I live for a shine spray. It's hard to find a good one because it can't be too greasy. Right now, I'm loving the Living Proof No Frizz Instant De-Frizzer.

To protect my hair from heat, I’m a fan of the Tweak'd by Nature Revitalizing Hair Treatment Mist. It turns my hair into spun silk when I blow dry with the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. Don’t skimp on hot tools that plug into a wall and touch your delicate hair.

VH: My hair-care routine definitely depends on how my hair is styled at the time. Sometimes, I wear my natural curls or I style my natural hair straightened. I also wear clip-ins, braids, and sewn-in extensions.

Throughout all my styles, moisture is key for my hair. Right now, I’m wearing sewn-in extensions and have been shampooing and conditioning with Olaplex. Then, I’ll apply the Kreyòl Essence Haitian Black Castor Oil Goat + Coconut Hair Milk while I let my hair dry.

Once it’s mostly dry, I go in with the Dyson Supersonic. I love how fast it works, especially since I’m drying my extensions and the braids underneath. Then, if I’m going to straighten or do loose curls, my go-to hot tool is the BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Prima Styling Iron.

Also, when I feel like my hair needs a little extra moisture between washes, I apply the Kreyòl Essence Haitian Black Castor Oil.
