What's the difference between this and the S.O.S. Serum?
The S.O.S. Serum is a lightweight, fast-absorbing scalp treatment you apply first. This Density Treatment Spray is a bi-phase formula that layers on top, adding keratin for shine and caffeine to help with frizz. The serum is the foundation, this spray is the reinforcement.
Do I use this instead of the serum, or along with it?
Along with it. This spray is designed to be applied after the S.O.S. Serum, not as a replacement. Using them together is how most customers get the best results.
Why do the ingredients look so similar to your other scalp products?
All of our Save Our Scalp products share a Growth Complex of Haitian Black Castor Oil and Redensyl, so the ingredient lists overlap. What differs is what's layered on top, this spray adds keratin, caffeine, and clove derived botanicals the serum doesn't have.
How often should I use it, and can I use it daily?
3 to 4 times a week is the routine we recommend. It isn't meant to be used more than once a day.
Is it okay for a sensitive or easily irritated scalp?
Patch test first, since this formula includes fragrance and botanical extracts. Discontinue use if you notice redness or irritation, and check the Ingredients tab for the full list before use.
