Kreyòl Essence Preorder Terms and Conditions

By placing a preorder for any Kreyòl Essence ("KE," "we," "us") product, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before completing your purchase.
1. What a Preorder Means
A preorder is a reservation for a product that is not yet in stock and ready to ship. By preordering, you are reserving your unit in advance and authorizing Kreyòl Essence to charge your payment method at the time the order is placed, not at the time of shipment.
2. Payment
Your payment method will be charged in full at the time you place your preorder. This charge secures your reservation and locks in the price displayed at checkout. No additional charges will be applied at the time of shipment, except where applicable taxes, duties, or shipping fees have not yet been calculated.
3. Shipping Timeline
Preordered items ship within four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date your order is placed. This timeline reflects our small-batch production process and may vary slightly depending on ingredient availability, production scheduling, and shipping carrier capacity. We will send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order leaves our warehouse.
4. Orders Containing Both Preorder and In-Stock Items
If your order contains both preorder items and items that are currently in stock, your order may be split into two or more shipments. In-stock items will typically ship within standard processing times, and preorder items will ship separately according to the preorder timeline above. You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments.
5. Changes and Cancellations
You may cancel your preorder for a full refund at any time before the order ships by contacting our customer support team at [support email]. Once your preorder has shipped, the order is subject to our standard return policy. Changes to shipping addresses, quantities, or product selections must also be requested before the order ships.
6. Delays
While we make every effort to ship preorders within the stated timeline, unforeseen delays may occur due to ingredient sourcing, production issues, supplier delays, weather, or carrier disruptions. In the event of a delay beyond six (6) weeks, we will notify you by email and offer you the option to wait, switch to an alternative product of equal or greater value, or cancel your preorder for a full refund.
7. Price Lock
The price you pay at the time of preorder is the price you pay — even if the retail price of the product increases before your order ships. This price lock does not apply to applicable taxes, shipping fees, or promotional discounts that may be added after checkout.
8. Product Availability
In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill your preorder due to discontinued production, supply chain issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified by email and issued a full refund to your original payment method.
9. Returns
Once your preorder ships and is delivered, it is subject to our standard return policy, which can be found at [link to return policy]. Preorder items are not eligible for return or refund prior to shipment except through cancellation as outlined in Section 5.
