During Black History Month, Kreyòl Essence will join several other black-owned/founded brands as a part of a ground-breaking Salon Takeover event taking place in all Ulta Beauty Salons.  A first-of-its-kind event, Ulta Stylists will exclusively showcase and use select products from participating black-owned brands in salon treatments and services, January 22 – February 11.

Kreyòl Essence is a proud first Haitian, Black and Female Owned brand to partner in a Ulta Salon event.  The brand will feature Haitian Moringa Oil So Smooth Hair Mousse in the Ulta Beauty Salon. This versatile hair styler is packed with hair nourishing and softening, plus scalp feeding power-house ingredients.  Julie Duffey, Director of Sales and Education at Kreyòl Essence, said, “Our Mousse was chosen specifically for the myriad of benefits it provides, from frizz fighting, softening, fullness, shape and hold all in one product.  Like all our products, we formulated our So Smooth Hair Mousse to work with all hair types, textures, and lengths from crunch-less, defined curls and soft waves to sleek up-dos. We appreciate the opportunity to educate Ulta Stylists and salon guests on when and how to use our products.”

Co-Founder and CEO of Kreyòl Essence, Yve-Car Momperousse, remarks on the Salon Takeover event, “It is a true sign of our partnership with Ulta and the ongoing work we have put in together to elevate and highlight not only black-owned brands, but to educate the stylists on how to work confidently with all hair types and textures.  We are extremely proud to be participating in what we hope to become an annual event, giving platform to like-minded brands and visibility to all salon guests.”  After a traumatic hair loss experience, this founder left her 6 figure salary and developed scalp care driven treatments and styling products.  Ms. Momperousse realized her dream of providing aide to her native Haiti while sharing her culture’s traditional hair remedies with the world.

The Kreyòl Essence team created a short video to commemorate their participation in the historic Salon Takeover event.  Book services now through February 11, to experience Kreyol Essence at Ulta Beauty Salons.  Sign up so you  never miss out on our next Ulta x Kreyòl Essence activation.
