Kreyol Essence: Haitian Black Castor Oil

Out of all the products and product lines I’ve reviewed on JGA, I am most excited about this line because it’s from my homeland!!!! When I found Kreyòl Essence on Instagram I screamed. Screamed! And I may have danced in my in seat in excitement. You would’ve thought I won the lottery, and in a sense I guess I did.

I grew up with lwil maskriti. My mother applied to my hair and scalp while scolding me to stay still. My grandmother used it to massage my aches and strained muscles after track practice. It took all of 15 minutes for me click “buy now” and purchase a 3.4 oz bottle for $20. A bit, but worth it.
