It was during a presentation of the services offered by “Kreyòl Essence”, on the reality TV show “Shark Tank”, that the founders of this Haitian company, Stéphane Jean-Baptiste and Yve Car Momperousse, convinced the investor Kevin O'Leary, nicknamed Mr. Wonderfull, of the profitability and viability of “Kreyòl Essence” who offered them a US $ 400,000 agreement.

Founded after the January 12, 2010 earthquake that ravaged the country, Kreyòl Essence is a company that creates natural beauty products based on “Palma Christi” oil. The primary idea is to give work to young Haitians and contribute to the eradication of poverty.

Before the cameras of the ABC chain, on the reality show “Shark Tank”, Stéphane Jean-Baptiste and Yve Car Momperousse had to prove in an obvious and convincing way to the various investors present that Kreyòl Essence deserves an investment in Shark, while demonstrating that the company could operate according to Shark standards. Those which they managed to make by attracting the attention of one of Shark's investors, Kevin O'Leary. They both left with a royalty agreement of US $ 400,000.

According to revelations from the Haitian Times, investor Kevin O'Leary, nicknamed Mr. Wonderfull, will earn 25 cents in perpetuity for each unit sold, which represents more than 5% of the equity in the business.
